About Warwick Weekend Bazaar

What is an “Anti-Commercial” market?

No multi-level marketing (MLM), no mass-produced corporate goods, no wholesale/resale from Amazon or any other corporate box stores.

When we say “anti-commercial,” we are talking about prioritizing the maker, the craft, and the community connection.

If you’ve gone to markets, either as a maker or visitor, only to discover three booths competing against each other with bulk-purchased Amazon “silver jewelry” or AliExpress acrylic keychains, you know exactly what we’re putting the “NO” on.

And, of course, absolutely no generated AI “art.” We are here to honor human creativity and authentic labor.

*Note: curated vintage resellers do not fall under the “commercial” category.

Our Location

Located in the heart of Kansas City’s Southmoreland neighborhood, we sit on the intersection of E 40th St and Warwick Blvd. Fun fact: this is one of the most walkable neighborhoods in Kansas City, with a walkability score of 92 out of 100!

How to get here

The bazaar is only a few minutes’ walk from the KC Streetcar’s WESTPORT stop, located on the corner of 39th & Main. You can also get off at the SOUTHMORELAND stop at 43rd & Main and walk back up toward 40th Street.

If you’re taking the bus, both the 39th St bus and the Main MAX will take you within a few blocks of us.

For those of you driving, you will find plenty of street parking on both sides of Warwick and E. 40th Street.
